Branch Training 12th July 2010
In response to queries from our branch members we are planning a Training Evening on Monday 12th July.
Practical Training
Topics are likely to include
- How to set up an Altar,
- Prepare the Chalice,
- The Name of Things,
- How to carry the different types of Verge
- How to process and how to turn,
- What to hand up and how to hand up,
- What to do for visiting clergy,
- Fold a Corporal,
- How to lay out vestments
- How to Light and Trim Candles
The training will take place at St Saviours church, St Albans at 7pm and will be led by Rev Canon Peter Palmer.
This event is open to all members. There is no fee for this training.
Members might like to bring their robes with them.
