The April edition of Seeround has a full backpage article on "The Urge to Virge ... have you heard the call?"
Seeround visited the Abbey vergers and interviewed them on the back page of the magazine. Peter gave a very good account of the branch and its activities and gained us a link to this website. Janet Lindsay also gave a good report on the Guild.
The four virgers at the Abbey were photgraphed and interviewed. They gave their accounts of what they do at the Abbey and why they undertake the job. This was contrasted with an interview with Janet describing the difference in a local parish church.
